Why pasted text has unwanted line breaks
Copy a paragraph out of a PDF, an email, or a scanned document and you usually get one short fragment per line — the text keeps its original hard line breaks instead of flowing. The result looks broken when you paste it into a CMS, a chat message, or a word processor, and fixing dozens of breaks by hand takes forever.
This tool removes all hard line breaks in one pass: every break (and any spaces left hanging around it) is replaced with a single space, so words join cleanly instead of merging together. Paragraph text becomes continuous lines you can paste anywhere without the ragged staircase effect.
How to remove line breaks without losing words
Paste your text and the cleaned version appears instantly in the result panel — there is no button to click. Scan the preview, then use Copy to grab it or Download to save a .txt file. Your original stays in the input box in case you want to compare or run a different cleanup.
If you want to remove extra spaces but keep paragraph breaks, use the Remove Extra Spaces tool instead: it collapses spaces and blank-line runs while preserving the empty line between paragraphs. Trim trailing whitespace line by line with the Text Trimmer, and strip invisible formatting characters with Strip Formatting.
